What’s up with that? A show not hosted by Ryan Hill.
What’s up with that? is an absurdist, socio-political, on-the-street interview show. Every Friday there is a home football game for Purdue University, we make our way down to the Chauncey Village area around midnight, approaching people with the simple question, “Do you want to answer some questions for an Internet radio show?” Some partake, most don’t. Then on Saturday morning we do the same thing, but with the Breakfast Club folks.
Season 1 editing was completed on April 14th, 2008. The last recording was taken November 9th, 2007. You can listen to all of the past episodes by clicking on the What’s up with that? category link.
The first episode of Season 2 was recorded on August 22nd, 2008–the Friday before classes began for the 2008-2009 school year. We concluded recording November 22nd, 2008 and finished editing the last show December 31st, 2008.
We usually make the first show a freeform show, just like the original pilot episodes. We will have some basic questions just in case people can’t shoot from the hip or spit from their lip.
