We asked one of our friends to call 312-DRY-TOFU while they were out on their spring break road trip to Florida. The result is the trove of audio below. We have tales of travel, pubs, alcohol, racism, limos, beaches, purses, and much, much more.
If you have anything you would like to contribute over the phone, please call 312-DRY-TOFU and leave your contribution at the beep!
Several weeks back we had the great pleasure of hanging out with some friends, making some noise on an old organ, and playing various drawing games. That same night, we recorded a nice jam in the basement by setting our Olympus DM-520 on a chair and stepping away.
The Media Collective is proud to present the resulting audio titled, One Chair Short, to Spite.
Another glorious and strange evening of E3 performances occurred on March 11th, 2011 at the wonderful Lala Gallery in downtown Lafayette. Afterwards, we interviewed a person from the audience and some of the artists involved. The result is the audio below.
If you were involved in any capacity with E3 (audience member, performer, casual observer) and would like to comment on the evening, the interviews, or the idea of E3 in general, you can call The Media Collective’s freeform question, comment, and improvisational line, 312-DRY-TOFU (312-379-8638). Call day or night!
Enjoy!

Sadly, some of the artists left early and we were not able to interview them in person. We did, however, follow up via e-mail. You can read the rest of this entry for their written responses.
In an effort to revive the ol’ voicemail line, 312-DRY-TOFU (312-379-8638), we decided to dig through some old recordings and post the open ended comments and stories that have
been left on the voicemail line.
Here’s one about a man just standing there and vehicular transportation. The caller gets a bit loud in the end.
