The Media Collective proudly presents its newest project: 312-DRY-TOFU. Go ahead. Give it a call. Answer the question. Tell us what is on your mind. We’ll post the audio to our web site.
Feel free to leave us questions you would like to ask the public. We may even use it for the next question on the voice mail.
This project is in its infancy, so call 312-DRY-TOFU and listen for the next question or prompt. They will change every week.
Update: You can listen to past 312-DRY-TOFU shows here.
Yes, it’s true. We are creating another project at the collective. This time we are going to try giving out creative assignments to see what people will come up with.
Project #1
Take a picture while you are waiting for something.
You could be waiting for a bus, cookies to cool, or your hard drive to defragment. Once we have received a few of these, we will post them to the site in a separate post. The only thing you have to do to be included in this project is to take the picture and then e-mail the piece to civicart[at]-REMOVETHIS-themediacollective.org
We can’t wait to see what you send in!!!
The Media Collective is preparing a new project to begin this coming semester on Purdue Student Radio: Live from Planet Zok.
The show will be a mix of music, improvisation, and audio from the web site. There will also be a segment where listeners can call in and share their thoughts with the topic of the week.
We will be posting flyers around campus to generate awareness of this new project, but we will also need your help spreading the word as well. Tell your friends they will have a reason to listen to the student run radio this fall.
Here is our first design:
