312 DRY TOFU – A Voice Mail Box for The Media Collective

Dry Tofu: A new voice mail box for The Media Collective. Answer questions, speak your mind, make some noise. We'll post the audio online.

The Media Collective proudly presents its newest project: 312-DRY-TOFU. Go ahead. Give it a call. Answer the question. Tell us what is on your mind. We’ll post the audio to our web site.

Feel free to leave us questions you would like to ask the public. We may even use it for the next question on the voice mail.

This project is in its infancy, so call 312-DRY-TOFU and listen for the next question or prompt. They will change every week.

Update: You can listen to past 312-DRY-TOFU shows here.

Bill Ayers Protest Interviews – Purdue – 09-24-2009

The following audio was obtained on September 24th, 2009 in front of the Lawson Computer Science Building on the Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana campus.

People started forming around the city block near the building, some of them belonging to the Citizens in Action and Purdue University College Republicans groups. Bill Ayers was scheduled to speak at 7PM that evening. We decided to interview those active in the protest and passerby from 5PM until about 9:30PM.

The full interview is listed below. To listen to the interviews broken down by Who, What, Where, When, Why, How, click the “There’s more! Continue reading” link below and then download the appropriate segment you want.

The First and Only Episode of Live! From Planet Zok

We finally have edited down the first and only episode of Live! From Planet Zok.

The opening is a little strange. The training for Purdue’s Student Radio consisted of standing behind someone who was controlling the board and SAM program saying, “Here’s Deck A. Here’s Deck B. Drop stuff here. Make a playlist. Be sure to turn it on auto when you are done. Blah. Blah. Blah.” So we had no idea what was happening. Luckily, we figured it out. Enjoy!
